Christmas puppy gift bags.
Today I have these cute gift bags. They measure at 8" tall x 4" width x 2" depth.
The dog digital stamp I used is called christmas puppy from Hellens art shop on etsy.
I first coloured the little dogs using my spectrum noir classique markers.
Instructions for the bags-
I started of with some coloured card at 12½" x 9½" and scored down the 12½" side at 4", 6", 10" and 12". This will leave half an inch on one side. I then turned and scored again at 1½". I cut up the bottom at each score line to the 1½" score line. After that I burnished all my score lines and then assembled both of the bags using red liner tape.
After that I cut some silver and gold mattes at just under 8"x4", then cut some patterned paper at 7¾" x 3¾". I layered the patterned paper onto the mattes and then adhered them to the bag.
To make the pockets I cut some card matching the colours of the bags at 3" x 4"and the patterned paper that matched the bags at just under 3" x 4". I layered the patterned paper on the plain card. I added red line tape on the back side along the bottom and sides and adhered that to the back of my gift bags to form pockets.
made some tags using the Santa's kitchen tags by Crafters companion.
I then used some nested oval dies to cut the dog images and some card to layer them on to.
I made some double loop bows and stuck them to the top of my bags using hot glue. I used foam pads to stick the dog images to the center of the bags.
I used coloured twine that matched the bags on the tags and put them into the pockets I made at the back.
I finished the bags with some gems on the bottom corners of each bag.
Thanks for looking.
